What To Expect

Embark on a 15-day motorcycle adventure through Zimbabwe, starting and ending in Livingstone, Zambia.

After crossing into Zimbabwe at Victoria Falls, the route follows a clockwise loop through some of the country’s most memorable regions, including Victoria Falls, Binga, Lake Kariba, Harare, Chinhoyi Caves, Nyanga National Park, the Chimanimani Mountains, Masvingo, Matobo National Park and Eastern Hwange National Park.

This is a real African motorcycle journey, combining asphalt roads, gravel sections, wildlife experiences, mountain passes, historic sites, dramatic landscapes, Lake Kariba, the Great Zimbabwe Ruins, Matobo Hills and the iconic Victoria Falls.

It is a journey for riders who want more than only beautiful roads. It combines riding, scenery, wildlife, history, culture and the feeling of travelling through Africa by motorcycle.

What To Expect

Embark on a 15-day motorcycle odyssey through Zimbabwe, starting in Livingstone and looping via Victoria Falls, Binga and the Lake Kariba ferry, Harare and the cobalt-blue Chinhoyi Caves, the sweeping Eastern Highlands of Nyanga and Chimanimani, the storied Great Zimbabwe ruins, the granite crowns of the Matobo Hills, and elephant country in Hwange. With a well-judged 70/30 mix of asphalt and gravel, daily distances around 300 km, and handpicked lodges from riverfront hideaways to bush camps, you’ll balance spirited riding with signature moments: optional “Flight of Angels” over the Falls, sunset at Lightning Rock, a ferry cruise on Kariba, a Hwange game drive, and moonlight elephant tracking—wrapped in guided camaraderie, good food, and big-sky Africa from first throttle to last.
