Control of the motorcycle begins with the stability of the rider’s hands.
When the hand loses its reference point, throttle modulation becomes inconsistent, brake inputs become abrupt, and the rider begins reacting instead of deciding.
In technical terrain or at low speed, this often appears as hesitation, over-correction, or sudden changes in momentum.
Two-finger clutch and brake levers control provides a stable reference point from which the rider can manage clutch and brake inputs without disturbing grip integrity.
By maintaining structure in the palm while applying input with the index and middle finger, the rider is able to:

When holding the handlebars with all 5 fingers wrapped around the grips, clutching until your knuckles are snow-white - will naturally put you in a position where your elbows will be forced against your ribs - yet again not allowing your body to decouple yourself from the movements of the motorcycle. How white should those knuckles then be?
Imagine the handgrips of the motorcycle are two toothpaste tubes with both caps slightly opened. The firmness of your hands on the handlebars must be in such a way that the toothpaste don’t come out. To maintain optimum control over the handlebars and ensuring efficient reaction time you want two (or one) fingers positioned on top of the clutch and two (or one) fingers resting on top of the brake lever. The two fingers resting (not pulling whilst riding) on the levers decreases the reaction time when applying the front brake and pulling the clutch in an emergency situation. This results in a reduced stopping distance, potentially saving your life.
They also greatly reduce the reflex response to grab a “handful of brakes” which could result in the front wheel locking up and wash out.
Two fingers at the front brake lever also serves as reference point for your hand, making control over the throttle more stable. Two finger levers improve clutch and throttle control resulting in less fumbling in technical sections and in stop-and-go traffic. Shorty levers add confidence and improves the rider's overall handling ability and ergnomics of the bike, even more so when the rider is in the standing position.

The design of the Wild@Heart levers requires the transfer of all the OEM (Original Equipment Manufacturer) lever inner components over onto the Wild@Heart levers, you will therefore need the complete original lever including the plunger, springs, adjuster knobs, everything as it comes off the bike. The bike will not “realise” that different levers are installed because the original inner components that make contact with all the switches, ensure it does not interfere with the functionality of the bike controls.
The Wild@Heart levers offer the same adjustability as the OEM levers because it uses all the OEM inner components including the adjuster knob.
All our levers are available in natural anodized Silver and in Black. We also do the KTM levers in Orange. The Black and Orange levers are cerakoted, which provides a thin layer, that does not interfere with the smooth functioning of the levers and as an added bonus has an amazing finish.
All our levers have complete fitment instructions in pdf format. We recently stopped the printing of the lever instructions to reduce our carbon footprint. You can download the fitment instructions directly from our website by simply searching for your motorcycle, and then downloading the instructions to your computer.
We do not have an online shop and prefer to interact with our customers directly and in person. This seemingly "old-fashioned" practice, help us to ensure you get the correct product for your motorcycle. Please complete the form on the Contact page and we will get in tourch. They were able to deliver and I received them. The levers are machined so beautifully! I understand why everyone on the forums recommends them. Thank you so much!
I can’t believe how fast you got these levers here to Texas. I just put them on and they’re great. Love them. We’re going in a motorcycle trip on Monday I figure I get them after the trip now I can use them in this trip. Thank you so much. Good job.
I just wanted to email you back now that I've had the levers mounted for about 5 days. I've ridden with them for about 600 or 700 miles, and they're truly fantastic. They've honestly transformed the hand controls for me, and given me a level of feel and control that I've never experienced before. I've been riding motorbikes for about 30 years and I've owned everything from vintage 1960's bikes to brand new machines, and I've used 2 fingers on many of those bikes when using the controls. But I've never had shorty levers, and I'm truly blown away. The visceral feel and connection that they provide as just amazing. I honestly don't even know what to say, but I just wanted to Thank You! Honestly, I truly appreciate it, and absolutely love these levers. Cheers.
Gentlemen, I am back for my 3rd set of levers from you! I love them and miss them terribly on my new R1300GS. Please put me in line for a set of black levers as soon as they are available.
Just arrived! Fitted already using your handy downloadable instructions. Absolutely delighted. Huge thanks for the speedy service!
I received the new levers this morning. I already installed them on my bike (very easy process) and they look and feel very nice. I do like the mill work with same 'fit tolerance' as the original levers from BMW. I'll try them out today with a short ride. Thank you so much for the expedited shipping and quality of your products. I'll definitely pass it along to my fellow riders. Thank you.
Good evening, I wanted to reach out and tell you just how much I appreciate your product! The craftmanship is absolutely outstanding! Ordering from your company was a pleasant experience, the shipping was comprehensive and easy to track. You should be very proud of the art you've created with the levers!! I will be recommending them to everyone I meet. Cheers, Jason.
I have been using the shorty levers that I purchased from you for a few months now. I just want to convey my appreciation for the quality and craftsmanship of your product. Thank you!
Good day, just wanted to let you know that the levers were received, and they are amazing! Great craftsmanship and amazing build quality, they fit perfectly on my GS and give me the comfort I was missing on it. I wanted you and your team to know how happy I am with the product and the excellent customer service I received; is there anywhere I can leave you guys a review? I believe your products and company deserve more recognition worldwide! Thank you Wild@heart!
Love your levers on my R1250GS, do a lot of technical mountain riding and they are awesome. New problem, just bough a new Ducati Desert X and want to have your levers on them as well. Do you intend to release levers for the Desert X?
Hi, I have a set of your brilliant shorty levers on my KTM 890. I can't ride without them, so I need a set for my new bike. Do you have plans to make shorty levers for the 2023 Triumph 1200 Rally Pro?
I just received the levers! Thank you so much! They're are beautifully and lovingly made! I am sure there will be guys who might want it. I will put them across to you. Thanks again! Best regards to you from India!
Just wanted to say that I installed the levers and been riding with them for a week now. They are amazing, next to the tractive suspension upgrade they are the best aftermarket kit I've come across! Thank you!!
Received the levers today and fitted them, and amazing 👌👍 love them. Big thank you to you and your team.
Your parcel is here!! Incredible 5 days from South Africa!! The levers are looking awesome! Thank you for your help and great service! Best regards.
The improved ergonomic, simplistic design of our levers makes it easier to have positive control over the handlebars.
They improve performance when in the standing position with your elbows open and forward.
The chances of our levers breaking in case of a fall, is far less compared to the OEM "oars".
Our levers are not only shorter but also designed in such a way that your fingers lock in positively onto the lever - these are two finger levers in the true sense of the word.
The levers clear your other fingers wrapped around the handlebars completely.
The days of pinching your clutch hand fingers are over.
